Weekly UZEX Digest (June 8-June 14)
During the last week, from June 8 to June 14, a total of 59,404 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange, representing a 17.1% increase compared to the previous week. Of the total transactions, 45.0% were executed through exchange trading, while the remaining 55.0% were carried out via electronic commerce trading systems.
As a result of electronic public procurement trading, total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to UZS 166.7 billion.
During the reporting period, 97 telephone numbers were sold through the online auction platform.
Exchange Trading
During the reporting period, 26,712 transactions were concluded through open exchange trading.
Meal
A total of 16,362.0 tonnes of meal were sold through exchange trading. On average, 8 buyers participated in trading sessions each day. The average daily sales volume amounted to 3,272.0 tonnes.
During the period under review, the average daily price of meal decreased from UZS 5,388.4 thousand to UZS 4,890.0 thousand per tonne.
Ammophos
During the past week, 5,332.0 tonnes of ammophos were offered for sale through exchange trading, of which 1,577.0 tonnes, or 29.6%, were sold. The average daily sales volume of ammophos amounted to 315.0 tonnes.
During the period under review, the average daily price of ammophos decreased from UZS 9,476.1 thousand to UZS 9,338.2 thousand per tonne. On average, 157 buyers participated in exchange trading sessions each day.
Industrial Cottonseed
Last week, 5,393.0 tonnes of industrial cottonseed were sold through exchange trading. On average, 4 buyers participated in trading sessions each day. The average daily sales volume amounted to 1,079.0 tonnes.
During the period under review, the average daily price of industrial cottonseed decreased from UZS 6,392.5 thousand to UZS 2,747.1 thousand per tonne.
