On March 20, 2024, as a result of competitive auction bidding in the trading system of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange mobilraqam.uzex.uz, a mobile number was sold in the amount of 1,070,000,000 soums. This figure is the highest price for mobile phones since the launch of this trading system.

This mobile number, with a starting cost of 200,000,000 soums, is intended for individuals. During the online auction, which lasted for more than three hours, 10 bidders took part and submitted 87 price proposals. As a result, the starting price of this current issue has been increased fivefold in the community.

Now, the auction winner must register this mobile number with the cellular company operator within 10 business days.

Let us recall that the electronic trading system of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange mobilraqam.uzex.uz was launched in 2019 with the aim of expanding access to popular mobile numbers of mobile operators.
