Meeting with Entrepreneurs Held in Nukus
On May 29, 2025, an open dialogue took place in Nukus between the management of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) and local entrepreneurs.
This meeting was held in accordance with the instructions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the aim of supporting local entrepreneurship, as well as identifying and resolving issues related to exchange trading and public procurement.
The event was also attended by brokers, traders, trading platform registrars of the exchange, commodity producers, suppliers, farmers, and other participants of electronic trading from the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs and exchange members had the opportunity to directly address the management of the exchange and receive competent responses to their concerns and practical solutions to pressing problems. In particular, questions related to the participation of entrepreneurs in exchange trading, online auctions, and electronic public procurement were discussed.

The meeting, held in an open dialogue format, included detailed explanations of recent changes and innovations introduced at the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange, as well as the essence and content of new government resolutions adopted in this area.
In particular, the implementation progress of Cabinet of Ministers Resolutions No. 570 dated September 12, 2024, and No. 621 dated October 2, 2024, was reviewed.
A training video was shown to entrepreneurs demonstrating the new electronic trading platform “UZEX Agro,” designed for the sale of agricultural products grown by farms and dehkan households at free market prices.

It was noted that operators of the Exchange’s Call Center promptly respond to entrepreneurs’ inquiries via phone at (+998 71) 207-00-33 and through the Telegram bot @uzexfeedbackbot.
In order to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency, the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange has begun implementing artificial intelligence (AI) services.
