During the last week, from September 8 to 14, a total of 39,082 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the JSC “Uzbek Commodity Exchange,” which is 50.4% more compared to the previous week. Of these, 27.7% were carried out through exchange trading, while the remaining 72.3% were completed via e-commerce systems.

As a result of electronic trading in public procurement, total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to 268.2 billion UZS.

During the reporting period, 3,325 license plates were sold through the online auction.

Exchange Trading

A total of 10,826 transactions were concluded on the open exchange market during the reporting week.

Cement

Over the past week, 415,797.0 tons of cement were put up for sale, of which 101,900.0 tons (25%) were sold.

During the period under review, the average daily cement price decreased from 672.8 thousand UZS to 645.4 thousand UZS per ton. An average of 76 buyers participated in exchange trading daily.

Cottonseed Oil

Last week, 1,340.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold through exchange trading. On average, 4 buyers took part in the daily trading sessions.

During the period under review, the average daily price for all grades of cottonseed oil decreased from 20,447.6 thousand UZS to 18,967.6 thousand UZS per ton.

Oilseeds

A total of 23,731.0 tons of oilseeds were sold through exchange trading. On average, 10 buyers participated daily, with an average daily sales volume of 4,746.0 tons.

During the reporting period, the average daily price of oilseeds declined from 5,086.1 thousand UZS to 4,692.4 thousand UZS per ton.
