Weekly UZEX Digest ( September 15– September 21 )
During the last week, from September 15 to 21, a total of 37,441 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the JSC “Uzbek Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange,” which is 4.2% less compared to the previous week. Of these, 27.7% accounted for exchange trading, while the remaining 72.3% took place through e-commerce trading systems.
As a result of electronic trading in public procurement, the total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to UZS 301.0 billion.
During the reporting period, 2,716 vehicle license plates were sold through the online auction.
Exchange Trading
During the reporting period, 10,353 transactions were concluded in open exchange trading.
Flour
A total of 9,144.0 tons of flour were sold through exchange trading. The average daily sales volume amounted to 1,829.0 tons. On average, 96 buyers participated in daily exchange trading.
During the reporting period, the average daily price of flour decreased from UZS 3,649.0 thousand to UZS 3,568.0 thousand per ton.
Ammonium Sulfate
During the past week, 534.0 tons of ammonium sulfate were sold on the exchange. On average, 5 buyers participated in daily trading, while the average daily sales volume amounted to 107.0 tons.
During the reporting period, the average daily price of ammonium sulfate decreased from UZS 2,240.9 thousand to UZS 2,214.1 thousand per ton.
Cathode Copper
Last week, 1,411.0 tons of cathode copper were sold on the exchange. On average, 6 buyers participated in daily trading, with an average daily sales volume of 282.0 tons.
During the reporting period, the average daily price of cathode copper decreased from UZS 134,161.0 thousand to UZS 131,484.2 thousand per ton.
