Weekly UZEX Digest (March 23-March 29)
During the past week, from March 23 to March 29, a total of 45,506 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange, which is 17.0% lower compared to the previous week. Of these, 47.3% accounted for exchange trades, while the remaining 52.7% were conducted through electronic commerce systems.
As a result of electronic public procurement auctions, the total savings of budgetary and corporate customers amounted to UZS 106.1 billion.
During the reporting period, 184 telephone numbers were sold through the online auction platform.
Exchange trading
During the reporting period, 21,525 transactions were concluded in open exchange trading.
Metallic Zinc
A total of 284.0 tons of metallic zinc were offered for trading, with the entire volume sold. The average daily sales volume amounted to 71.0 tons.
On average, 6 buyers participated in trading each day. Over the reporting period, the average daily price for metallic zinc decreased from UZS 53,950.1 thousand to UZS 48,415.5 thousand per ton.
Compound Feed
A total of 251.0 tons of compound feed were offered for sale through exchange trading, with the entire volume sold. The average daily sales volume amounted to 63.0 tons.
During the reporting period, the average daily price for compound feed decreased from UZS 3,498.7 thousand to UZS 2,000.0 thousand per ton. On average, 3 buyers participated in trading each day.
Ammophos
During the week, 17,510.0 tons of ammophos were offered for trading, of which 6,418.0 tons, or 36.7%, were sold. The average daily sales volume amounted to 1,604.0 tons.
Over the reporting period, the average daily price for ammophos decreased from UZS 8,481.8 thousand to UZS 8,448.8 thousand per ton. On average, 616 buyers participated in trading each day.
