Over the past week, from November 10 to 16, a total of 34,860 transactions were concluded on all trading platforms of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX), which is 3.5% more than the previous week. Of these, 35.6% were executed through exchange trading, while the remaining 64.4% took place via electronic commerce trading systems.

As a result of electronic trading for government procurement, total savings for budgetary and corporate customers amounted to 142.1 billion soums.

During the reporting period, 261 phone numbers were sold through online auctions.

Exchange Trading

During the reporting period, 12,393 transactions were concluded in open exchange trading.

Flour

A total of 10,637.0 tons of flour were sold through exchange trading, with an average daily turnover of 2,127.0 tons.

During this period, the daily average price of flour decreased from 4,094.2 thousand soums to 3,974.8 thousand soums per ton. On average, 118 buyers participated in the exchange trading daily.

Ammonium Sulfate

During the past week, 1,787.0 tons of ammonium sulfate were sold on the exchange, with an average daily turnover of 357.0 tons.

During the reporting period, the daily average price of ammonium sulfate per ton decreased from 2,527.0 thousand soums to 2,432.5 thousand soums. On average, 32 buyers participated in the exchange trading each day.

Polyethylene

A total of 3,485.0 tons of polyethylene were offered for exchange trading, of which 3,371 tons, or 96.7%, were sold. The average daily turnover was 674.0 tons.

During the reporting period, the daily average price of polyethylene decreased slightly from 16,052.3 thousand soums to 16,010.7 thousand soums per ton. On average, 74 buyers participated daily in the exchange trading.
